This is the spot for Calgary’s Tweed Ride, where bicyclists of all levels are encouraged to dress in tweed and explore the city in a leisurely fashion.
The Tweed Ride is a casual, ~10-15km ride around Calgary’s inner city, where participants are encouraged to dress in tweed or vintage on Victoria Day in May. The 8th Annual Tweed Ride is taking place on May 20, 2019, and we invite all to take in this most elegant of bicycle rides in the fair city of Calgary. Registration is now open, and encouraged, though you may still join us for the ride without pre-registering.
All proceeds raised from this years ride will once again go to support the efforts of Bicycles for Humanity.
To date, the Tweed Ride has helped raise over $7,000 to support the efforts of Bicycles for Humanity.
Bicycles for Humanity sends used bikes to developing countries. Their work supports grassroots projects that improve access to healthcare, education, water, food and employment through the provision of sustainable transportation.
